Are there any tricks to speeding up IP Simulator?

Are there any tricks to speed up the IP Simulator other than going into "Options" and turning off "Simulator Transport Speed"? I have a bottle neck somewhere that is slowing me down to about 350 documents per minute but I don't think it is the PC.

Try running the Ranger transport diagnostics program with the simulator and see what the throughput is. If it is much higher than 350 docs/min then the delay is likely somewhere in your application. Pick a fast transport from the simulator menu like the high-speed 7780.
