I have a client that is reporting that the scanner is slowing down below rated speed while scanning .
While looking in the Ranger Logs , I see this message appearing throughout the logfile.

Hello Keith,

Please send support requests to support@sbullet.com. Our forum was originally set up to be an area we posted commonly asked questions. We are not currently setup to monitor and respond to these requests. Perhaps this will change in the future.

Please send us a complete Ranger log of the issue. The rated speeds for scanner are usually for ideal conditions. If extra imaging endorsing etc options are enabled this causes many scanners to slow down. Another cause could be that the computer resources may be limited.

If you feel that the USB cable may be a cause that would be easy to replace. I would also make sure that a USB port on the motherboard at the back of the computer was used.

In the log, each part of the Panini API status in the log remains unchanged until the driver updates the status. The "Sorter: ERR_COMM..." status may have had this status set for some time.

Best regards,

Erik Wesemann
