Minimum PC requirements - for PCs attached to monitored devices:
  • OS: Microsoft Windows XP or later
  • CPU: any
  • RAM: 256 mb
  • Diskspace: 20 mb
  • Network Speed: 10 base-t

Minimum Scout Server requirements:
Small Server - monitoring less than 100 devices
  • Dedicated PC
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Pro 2003 or later
  • CPU: 1.6 ghz Intel Xeon - dual-core
  • RAM: 4 gb
  • Diskspace: 200 gb
  • Network Speed: 10 base-t

Medium Server - monitoring 100 to 10,000 devices
  • Dedicated PC
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Pro 2003 or later
  • CPU: 1.6 ghz Intel Xeon - dual processors, each with a dual-core,
  • RAM: 8 gb
  • Diskspace: 500 gb
  • Network Speed: 100 base-t

Large Server - monitoring 10,000 to 100,000 devices
  • Dedicated PC
  • OS: Microsoft Windows - 64bit
  • CPU: Dual (2) Intel® Core™2 Extreme quad-core processors
  • RAM: 16 gb
  • Diskspace: 2 TB – RAID 5
  • Network Speed: 1000 base-t
