Does Ranger work in a Citrix Environment?

I assume this question is about installing Ranger on a Citrix Thin Client.  Ranger is not tested in a Citrix Thin Client; Ranger is tested on full operating system installs.

Below are some points that would need to be addressed.  This is not intended to be a complete list but a starting point:

1. Ranger has to be installed on the computer that will be connected to the scanner.
2. This install has to be persistent.
3. Ranger relies on the manufacturer-supplied scanner drivers to communicate with the scanner. Because of this, Ranger will inherit any scanner driver limitations.
4. The Ranger installer requires Administrator permissions when unlocking.
5. Thin client operating systems may be lacking in how they communicate to the ports (ie :USB) that would cause problems with the drivers. More information about this can be found in the Wikipedia entry for "Thin Client".

The general answer to this question is that Ranger only supports systems where there is a full operating system install.
