GetTransportInfo(...) returns "File not present".

After upgrading to v3 or v4 Ranger, GetTransportInfo(...) returns "File not present".  I also get this the first time running Ranger v2 after install.

Most likely you are requesting transport information before the "TransportChangeOptionsState" (before Ranger has connected to the scanner).  You should delay this call until Ranger reaches "TransportChangeOptionsState" or a later state.

In version two you were likely reading an old TransportInfo file that was created from a previous run.  Basically you were taking advantage of what might possibly be considered a bug.  This is very unlikely to cause a problem at existing location as the scanner you used last time is most likely the scanner you are using now or it is very similar.
